Historical Fiction

We are living in an era, well hopefully a year, that will become the basis for historical fiction novels.

I wrote about this on my Facebook page, coming from the premise that losing one quarter of school, isn’t as awful as what some generations have gone through. That our students will survive it.

I am more worried about the social issues they are missing out on, than the academic issues.

I sincerely hope one of our students, will write Covid 2020, in the next decade or so. I hope the protagonists who survive are many.

For sure, we will all remember where we were in 2020! This is total food for thought: “coming from the premise that losing one quarter of school, isn’t as awful as what some generations have gone through” Thank you for that! Sometimes the most obvious things get lost in our stress. We will make it through this and read about it again in 10 years. I’m looking forward to that!

I like the idea of this being historical fiction one day- then that means people may be Googling to see if it was really all true. I know I have never written about one topic so much as this year.
